Built on connections across continents, we bring together trusted mushroom sourcing in China, more than 15 years of research and hands-on expertise in medicinal mushrooms, and manufacturing partnerships in the U.S. to help turn your D2C vision into a finished product.
Three decades of partnership across three disciplines: Sam and Professor Vaisman bring clinical-grade mushroom research and the scientific depth that comes from 15+ years at the frontier. Yaniv leads operations and our US manufacturing network — every lot lands audit-ready. And our partner team in QingYuan, China — alongside us for 30 years under the leadership of Mr. Shane Lei — delivers the organic raw materials, cultivation expertise, and full certification coverage (USDA, EU Organic, Drug GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, Kosher, Halal) that holds the whole supply chain together.

In 2010, Sam received a bladder cancer diagnosis. The rapid push for surgery pushed him to look elsewhere — a treatment centre in Germany introduced him to medicinal mushrooms, and the healing journey he began there became the rest of his career.
Inspired, he co-founded Mycolivia Medicinal Mushrooms in Israel 15 years ago — pioneering medicinal-mushroom cultivation, research and clinical collaboration in the region. As Mycolivia’s CEO from 2014 to 2023, he led the integration of mushroom ingredients into hospital protocols, clinical trials with integrative departments, and international collaborations.
For 30 years Sam has worked side-by-side with his partner team in QingYuan, China, led by Mr. Shane Lei — refining cultivation, extraction, and quality processes that today support Mushroom Plenty’s B2B ingredient supply.
At Mushroom Plenty, Sam leads sourcing, clinical research, and quality strategy.
Yaniv runs Mushroom Plenty’s operations, manufacturing partnerships, and US supply chain. From the Newark, NJ warehouse to contract-manufacturing partners across the US, he builds the reliable, audit-ready production flow that takes QingYuan raw materials into finished B2B orders.
Yaniv’s background is in scaling operations for ingredient supply — lot-level documentation, customs and regulatory handling, private-label production runs, and the logistics of getting clean, certified ingredients from farm to formulator without friction.

Mushroom Plenty was founded on one conviction: that the supplement and CPG industry deserves a mushroom ingredient supplier that combines ancient cultivation expertise with modern documentation rigour.
Our QingYuan partnership spans three decades — a time when most Western brands didn’t know the difference between fruiting bodies and mycelium. We’ve always extracted from fruiting bodies only, always tested every lot, and always provided full CoA documentation. That hasn’t changed.
What changed is the scale. Today we supply supplement brands, contract manufacturers, CPG formulators, and private label operators from our GMP-certified Newark, NJ warehouse — with 2–3 week lead times and full regulatory documentation on every order.
FDA 21 CFR Part 111 compliant. Full batch records and SOPs maintained on-site.

Every lot tested by ISO 17025-accredited labs for beta-glucans, microbials, heavy metals, and pesticides.
