Yaniv Turjman has spent more than a decade at the intersection of functional mushroom science and supply chain operations. Before founding Mushroom Plenty, Yaniv built and operated Mycolivia Medicinal Mushrooms — developing expertise in cultivation science, extraction chemistry, and the regulatory requirements of international ingredient trade.

Why QingYuan

Not all mushroom extracts are created equal. The industry has a well-documented problem with mycelium-on-grain products labeled as mushroom extracts — products that contain primarily starch filler and minimal active bioactives.

Every Mushroom Plenty extract is sourced exclusively from fruiting bodies — the actual mushroom, not the mycelium substrate. Our partner farm, QingYuan (operating under the HuQingYuTang umbrella since 1874), cultivates at 15,000m² scale with 150+ trained staff and Class-100,000 cleanroom production environments.

Each batch is 4:1 hot water extracted, standardized to verified beta-glucan and polysaccharide levels, tested for heavy metals, pesticides, and microbials, and accompanied by a full Certificate of Analysis.
